How it's made
Sun-dried copra from Kerala's coastal coconuts is slow-pressed in a wooden chekku at low temperature, then left to settle naturally and filtered. No refining, no bleaching, no chemicals.
How Kerala uses it
For cooking (avial, thoran, fish curry), for oiling hair before a bath, for baby massage and as a natural skin moisturiser.
Why does it turn white?
Pure coconut oil solidifies below 24°C, which is a sign it's natural. Keep the bottle in warm water for a minute.
